Inner Compass: Building from the inside out

Inner Compass is an introspective class for the thinker, the writer, the feeler, the student who has always sensed there is more to discover about who they are. We don’t rush here. We explore.

Some nights we meditate. Some nights we color, draw, and let the hands do what the words can’t yet say. We make vision boards that tell the truth about what we want and who we’re becoming. We do henna. We have spa nights. We build the kind of self-esteem that doesn’t come from applause — it comes from knowing yourself, from the inside out, in the quiet, before you ever set foot on a stage.

Because that’s the real work. The inner life. The stuff we don’t always have space for in the rush of rehearsal and performance and life. Inner Compass is that space.

You’ll write. You’ll reflect. You’ll sit in a room full of people who are asking the same enormous questions you are — about who they are, what they want, what kind of human they’re choosing to become. And something will shift. It always does.

This class builds the foundation everything else stands on. Confidence. Self-worth. A vision for your life that is entirely, unapologetically yours.

THE REHEARSAL ROOM

Class schedule: Sept – May, Mondays 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Where your voice finds its home — and who you are begins to shift. This is the place where everything comes together.

Songs. Monologues. Poetry. Presentations. The pieces you’ve been building, the voice you’ve been finding, the performer you’ve been becoming — The Rehearsal Room is where it all comes out. Full out. On stage. In front of people who are doing the exact same thing and growing right alongside you. This is not a class. This is a community in rehearsal.

We look at things differently here. It’s not about the end performance. It’s about who you become every single time you take the stage — or pick up your script, your song, your rehearsal material. The shift happens in the work itself. And you’ll feel it. In the way you carry yourself. In the way you walk into a room. In the confidence and self-esteem that become quietly, unmistakably yours.

We work with live instruments and tracks. Solos, duets, group numbers. Harmonies that teach your ear to really listen. Monologues that tell real stories. Poetry that lands. And four performance nights across the year — the last Monday of October and November, the last Monday of February and March — where the work gets to breathe out loud. Performance nights run until 9:00pm.

By your second year with us, the difference is palpable. Not just on stage. Everywhere.

HEALING HEARTS

Class schedule: Sept – May, Saturdays 10 am – 1 pm

Ages: 7+        Price: $1,500 + HST

Unmasked – A Healing Hearts production

The show isn’t the point. The becoming is.

Unmasked is where Healing Hearts students step into something bigger — a full production experience that asks you to go deeper, dig further, and bring more of yourself to the stage than you knew was possible.

Every Saturday, for three hours, we build something together. A world. A story. A performance that matters — not because it’s polished, but because it’s true. Because the voices in it are real, the feelings are real, and the courage it took to get there is something no one can take away.

This is theatre the way it was always meant to be. Not a mask you put on for an audience. The one you finally get to take off.

You’ll work on staging, character, physicality, and presence. You’ll find your voice in a role and discover what happens when you stop performing and start being. You’ll create something with your fellow artists that none of you could have made alone.

And then you’ll share it. Because that’s what Healing Hearts does — it heals, and it offers that healing to anyone brave enough to watch.

Unmasked — because the best performance you’ll ever give is the one where you show up as yourself.
